How it works
Legacy, non-AI intrusion detection systems detect objects based on size and location, but they cannot distinguish the types of objects. Hence, it can recognize an object of interest, e.g., a person, from irrelevant objects in the regions of interest, such as cars, dogs, shadows, tree branches, rain or snow.
The object recognition is over 99% accurate for both indoors and outdoors conditions, regardless of the size of the object of interest, e.g., a person 250 ft (~75 m) away will correctly trigger an alert in real time, whereas a spider crawling over the camera will not.
